Using Neural Networks in Neuro Science
In neuro science, we build a model that explains something and then predict it. When you use a neral network model, you are jumping right over explanation. You're going from measurement to prediction without any explanation. So now you have to go in and interrogate that model to try to extract its operating principles. That turns out to be hard, just like understanding the brain is hard. But by playing tot, by playing games, those two games simultaneously wirl, you fit all the explicit and coating models you can, and you fit neral networks. It's rsmally cool.
