What Is Osmolarity?

Osmosis is the movement of water through a semi permeable membrane from an area of high water concentration to an area of low water concentration. The ions within that fluid is known as osmolarity, which is simply one concentration. Osmolarity and osmolality are interchangeable because one liter of water is one kilogram of water.
