Is the Work of Breathing Going Down?
The machine calculates the work of breathing, and then based on the percent you've said, it says, ok, if this is the work of Breathing, i will support this percentage. No matter how much the patient needs or wants or pulls in pav, the machine will decrease its support as the patient improves. Anm i, i have not personally seen a huge advantage to using it. Now that may just be personal unfamiliarity with the mode am. But again, there are verye very few data to support it.
