The Early Robin Hood Tales

Robin Hood was hooded, hatted, hosed and shod or shud in the early 1400s. A decade or so later we find another reference to Robin Hood in a Chronicle composed in Scotland. And interestingly it refers to Little John and Robert Hood as Wytheman which meant men who lie in wait. This points to another important aspect of the early Robin Hood tales.
