In England, we have a loneliness epidemic now. We even have a minister of loneliness in the UK because it's such a... I talked to somebody who does the hair of old people and she was saying, this is the only time they ever get touched. They just sit staring at daytime TV all day and porridge spooned into their mouths three times a day. This is individualism which results in an enormous amount of human suffering. So I think that really, instead of religions moralizing, it tends not to achieve much. It just makes people angry and defensive to look with compassion at the victims of the modern system.
