Etherium Block Chain Scalability
Etherium can only handle certain number of transactions per second. So people have realized that we need to find a way to scale there in block chain. A side chain is where you have basically another block chain that sits besides the main block chain, and it has its own validator network. The one difference is that it a, it pegs to the main chain. For example, polygon polygon, you can, you can send your itherium assets to the pol with an equivalent amautomatic on the polygon block side chain - then you do your transactions there.
