Using Cryptocurrency to Sort Plastics
How would some one know that a token that is minted on chain actually corresponds to something that's sorted? Well, you could ask land fills to mint at their own particular tokens, and then ask individual investors to verify that each land fill is doing what they promised. But that's not really workable. Another thing that you can do is have a third party audit system or organization. So now we have our block chain run by land fill owners, who then hire third party auditing organizations to verify that the sorting is taking place. We'll adopt something similar for our trash chain, with on chain plastic sorters generating data for the chain, subject to periodic human audits. Through voluntary action
