Models of the Giant Magellan Telescope

The giant magellan telescope is going to be ten times more powerful than the hubbl. It's made up of seven gigantic circular mirrors, arranged in sort of a flower shape. They're like the biggest mirrors in the world, dillon, they are 27 and a half feet tall. In order to learn about the universe we have to be able to see record light from extremely distant objects.
