Pastor Mike's Reflections on the Black Campus Ministry

There were a few of us. I was definitely not the only one. We also had a black staff person on campus. And so there was, kind of like I said in the beginning, there was a slight attempt to kind of understand that we needed something geared towards our experience and things like that. But he also got a lot of pushback from staff members. The higher up campus ministry didn't have as much money or resources for those kinds of things. So because of us, we've been most applied by other schools. Now you got four black students. And now you got eight black students for a little while.
