"I was actually really into sketch comedy at first and that's what I really wanted to do. And nobody would film me, so I didn't know anybody who had a camera who was good at filmmaking," he says. "It always felt strange to me that we had this camera that could shoot video, but you had to do so many things to the camera to make it function like a proper video" He started out with a Sony Handicam when he was in high school before buying his own Canon XHA one after being sued for $7 million by an AMP grocery store.
