The World Cup Team Goals - Brazil, Profrante Brazil
The 1982 World Cup squad was a symbol of the dictatorship in Brazil. The team goals became kind of a metaphor that the dictatorship tried to adopt for the nation itself. Pele, I think to his shame and perhaps in some way to his credit as a player allowed this to happen. He was actually declared an unexportable natural resource by the Brazilian state legislature.
