What Happens if You Don't Have a Will?
Every province in canada has some form of legislation am dealing with intestace. If you don't have a will, the process to get your stuff down this chain of command is slightly more complicated because you also don't have an executor. So there's a court application. Somebody needs to come forward and say, fine, i'll gather up the assets... And then they have to distribute in accordance with the legislation. There are some over view provisions that pretty much happen across the country, but the specifics differ slightly.
