Fast times is based on a non fiction book by cameron crow who went under cover as a high school student for a year to report onwhat eightis tenaters were really like. The movie focuses primarily on a year in the sex life of 15 year old stacy, played by 19 year old jenifer jason. kates plays stacy's supposedly sexually experienced friend, linda.
