Save for a Rainy Day
In April 2005, the site had four rules: live within your means, spend after you earn and then save for a rainy day. The first rule was all about timing; it's not really like a rule but kind of a statement. "I just think they're kind of, I think they're really hokey," says founder Jesse Trachtenberg.
