There are currently zero electric vehicles on the market that in the united states that will qualify for these subsidies, because almost all of them use batteries that are produced elsewhere. And i think that's the most egregious example, right? That they put so many restrictions on the e v tax credits that no cars currently qualify. The hope is that k street, the lobbyists and the corporations will somehow convince the executive branch to water down these restrictions via regulations.
