The Negative Leading Economic Indicators for March

Unemployment is quietly becoming a bigger problem. It's not screaming anything right now in the headline, so people can still ignore it. But these numbers are very elevated over where they were. These are the highest numbers really that we've seen since January of 2022. The difference is inflation is much stronger. So now we don't just have a weak economy, we have strong inflation, we have stagflation.
