The Importance of Talking About Yourself
Free therapy is 12-step programs. Most people can't afford therapy. There's a lot of therapies that enable and make you worse. If they're not giving you active tools or suggesting EMDR for real trauma or suggesting some kind of work outside, they're probably just, they want you to stay sick. A lot of time sitting down and talking about yourself is the last thing you need because you're going to re-embed an old story or a trauma.
