I Refuse to Enter Nation as a Black Person, I Refuse It's Call

I love that connection you make between that conversation and this. I think white innocence is a feature of nation. It's a benefit of nation in a way, right? This kind of innocence is encouraged entirely in language such as working people, everybody, we don't want this kind of thing. That's my antipathy toward narrative, my really quite troubled relation with it.
