The Consequences of Cluster Munitions

The origins of pleasure of violence from right goes back somewhere near World War II. Despite the US and some other countries moving with their use or in some cases signing the convention against them, there are still countries that we see Ukraine today, but also Saudi Arabia recently attempting to use cluster munitions. The idea of economy of force sending one bomb over and having outsized effect by dropping hundreds of smaller bombs onto an area is something that's very appealing to militaries. And unfortunately, that thing that appeals to them has a human cost and a foreseeable civilian harm.
