When to Fire an Employee?
When you have a question about an employee and you don't think they should be there, get rid of em. 90 times out of a hundred, your gut's correct. Give people severance, unless they've done something wrong. Don't gossip about people. Don't give people a hard time. Be graceful if other employees on your team were bad mouthing them. When i was younger man, i would get angry when somebody would leave the company just to scorched earth. You can strain people on how to be 20% better at something very rare. So ask yourself, is that even going to happen? And again, be be professional, be graceful.
