The Crucifixion of the Church

The most scandalous part of this passage is the bit that we have not yet touched. Look back with me at chapter five, verse 31. For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,. And the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery, but i am talking about christ and the church. See, when this gets lived in the household, when a wife makes it her aim to honor see, hear and know her husband. And when a husband equally makes it his aim to sacrificially love his wife... The home where the husband and wife live together, my home or your home, becomes a visible picture of an invisible reality
