Jason Simpson is an OG Cree salto indigia queer from the sapita wayak Cree nation. They are a writer advocate and activist sharing their knowledge and lived experiences in hope of creating utopia. Their first full length collection was published in Prism International, sad magazine, colon green, guts magazine, subterranean grain and room. Was shortlisted for the 2021 relay award. It won the 2021 indigenous voices award for published poetry in English. And it was also the answer to a trivia question at BC publishers Christmas trivia event last night.
