How to Use Simple Words to Build Trust

I think sometimes we try to overcompensate for our own insecurities by using those big words. When somebody's not trying to cover up their lack of knowledge just by being straightforward and using simple words with you, it has a subconscious trust building factor. I've heard never use five syllables when two syllables will do. Make it easy for your prospect to send you an order or an inquiry. Nothing has changed without one in 73 years. Back in the day, direct mail marketers would make mistakes like asking people to pick up the phone and call them without putting their phone number in the letter.
