Steam Desktop Client: A New Way to Improve Your Steam Experience
Valve also improving the desktop client not just working on the steam deck big picture mode they apparently say that this work is the result of the new big picture mode. it should be way more responsive when you resize when you scroll when you navigate especially on a high resolution displays on everything from 1440p to 4k I had huge slowdowns and lags and stutters in the steam desktop client because well it was just using the CPU so now the GPU will be able to render these things so it's way way betterI already installed that steamedec beta on my main PC and yeah the changes are really cool and the client does feel a lot snappier and a lot more responsive.
