The War of the Oaken Bucket
In 1325, a war broke out between the Italian states of Bologna and Modena over a bucket. In some versions of this story, it is Gaia who starts this war as revenge for the defeat of the Titans years ago. Either way, Alkionius wouldn't back down, and so there was war. Over some cows. Not a very good reason to go to war, in my opinion, but it was as good as any, I guess.
