The Problem With Meditation
The question here is one of moral modal logic, whether or not it is possible to maintain as tradition does that God being the good never wills evil in itself. And if you're going to be a good tomeist about it, has it within his power to extend efficacious grace such a way that all are saved? In tomeism God could save all, he just chooses not to, without violating their freedom. You accept that uniquely in the case of God, there is a modal collapse of any distinction between will and permission,. I call it a moral modal collapse at the eschatological horizon.
