The Senate's Cloture Vote on Repeal of Authorization
Sen. Rand Paul: We have 70 votes on this which is quite bipartisan. The House has voted on this already a couple of times with every Democrat and up to 40 Republicans voting to repeal the authorizations. Some will want to make plain that by withdrawing an authorization for against Iraq, we're not hampering United States' ability to defend itself from attacks from Iran-based militias in Iraq.
