How Do You Teach Your Children to Understand Reality?

I am a parent now with young boys. I don't want them to go to that boarding school atmosphere where they have to grow up really fast, because it's unrealistic and creates all sorts of other issues. So how do you advise? i think one of the greatest gifts that you can give your child is to be a little bit bore. My goodness, that's successful. Parents don't need an exciting so children don’t need an exciting parent. And what they need is a reliable parent who will be able to tolerate their success, and not direct envy of their success,. But also tolerate their fear and not need to always impose a narrative that isn't true to kids.
