i'm wondering if you worry at all that this sets a standard in which you kind of do the investigation in secret, and then the hearings are for the presentation of the evidence. Just chafets, who's a law professor at georgetown,. refers to this practice as congressional overspeech. And i think there is really a place for that in the current congress. We live in a world that's so profoundly different, politically, institutionally from the one that we lived in during watergate hearing.
