His full name is Kalani Pahir, for he or kalikinikai, the Ikui kamami. He ruled through 1819 and one of his wives took their throne after his death. Among the things she changed, was that women were finally allowed to eat bananas. She was also Protestant. There was a lot of badness with missionaries. Eventually, the US took control of the kingdom of Hawaii in 1893 - an overthrow that Congress's since admitted was illegal.
