Identity Politics

I think the most important thing to say is that it got popular. And so what's happened is just that a lot of people who don't have their politics, who aren't trying to do the things that they were trying to do, have gotten use of this term. The versions of identity politics that are going to kind of win out, that ey're going to get circulated, most often have to do with all the regular stuff of who has resources and power in society.
