The Fourth Phase of the Hype Cycle

We saw so many web based companies appear up to that point. And alo those companies weren't able to survive this shifting market, this declining market. Now we start to enter the fourth phase. This is when people actually figure out what the tack is good for. It may be that it has uses that were never anticipated during the initial hype phase of this technology.
