The learning is you know at a fundamental level it's experience right and so if we take our experiences and we stack them together then even the things that like you say are on the short time horizon can absolutely be stepping stones to those longer-term visions. So i was living in vancouver looking for an excuse to somehow come to california and keep in mind it's not that easy to get a green card um certainly not if you're unwilling to work for someone else. I released this animation engine and whatsapp adobe google and few yc companies wanted to hire me, which gave me enough of a kick in the buttlike firing to my butt to stop working for myself
