The Difference Between Copying and Studying

You could copy something so mindlessly that you learn nothing from it practically. You can study without copying. Some of the best anatomy students would hardly draw during the anatomy class when I'd show slides. So there's this active, mental activity going on, but practically no movement and certainly no drawing.
