Capitalism and Consumer Choice
Capitalists are locked in a perpetual battle not only to produce values, but to combat their potential negation. Even the lowest paid worker enters the marketplace endowed with a sacred right of consumer choice. Anti-value defines an active field of anti-capitalist struggle. Resistances arise on moral, political, cultural, aesthetic, religious, and even philosophical grounds.
