The Great Divorce
The great divorce is louis's best book, but that doesn't mean we're pitting ourselves against andrew. Lewis writes if our nation really is so much better than the others, it may be held to either the duties or rights of a superior being towards them. And in the nineteeth century, the english thought a lot about this with regard to their empire. But lewis actually doesn't think it was all hypocrisy or a complete failure.
