The Democrats' Rhetoric and Political Reality After the Election
I don't see either party even making noise about moving toward a more reasonable centrist position. Rather, they both seem to be doubling down playing to the most extreme ends of the spectrum. We're dealing with election rhetoric now; we'll have to deal with governing reality later. I'm not terribly sanguine that this is going to happen this time, but it's not impossible that it might and why not?
