Official records show that a hundred and three protesters were shot dead over four days in february, many of them killed by trained snipers. There was all sorts of ordinary people on the midan with their improvised headgear, ski masks and things. But there was also quite a well organized right group of ukranians. And i think that a lot of media, especially russian media, seized upon these people. All sorts of rumors were spread, both in eastern ukraine and in crimea, about how awful these people were.
