John McLean: A Novelist's Perspective

John McLean himself is not from the book he has changed completely. He's an original creation for the movie in all arguments right does he have an arc? If you took the character from the end of the movie and just as a mental exercise put them in the beginning of the movie would they do things differently no okay i think they would  I can live with that yeah like we know that he doesn't end up being a different person which kind of spoils that arc but uh for me literally i'm I'm with you um sorry bobUm fine guys can be wrong sometimes the i think it's more of what john mcclean value definitely values his family more after what just happened
