The imposter syndrome thing is actually a very good test to know if you're out of your comfort zone and growing. I was dealing with a doctor, once who he developed a technique whereby they could treat more patients more cheaply but for one year, he never said anything. If that person had developed this and his or her goal was to impact patient safety and lives and save lives, then the mission has to be greater than the fear. The why needs to be strong. And you have to get yourself permission to say, okay, I'm willing to be uncomfortable here because the impact is going to be larger.
