Nicholas Said walked 2000 miles barefoot through the Sahara Desert in a slave caravan. He was forced to work in the fields of a local merchant before being shipped across the Mediterranean to be sold in Turkey. After three weeks, he complained to the owner saying, you know, I can't do this work.
