Randall Nickerson's new film is about a South African boy who was adopted by the U.S. government when he was just six years old. The story of John Mac, known as "Duck," has been told many times before but never like this. He says it reminded him of searching for sugarman - an aerial phenomenon that also happened in South Africa.
