Sully was a man of many hats and gradually became the most influential bulldozing his way into almost every aspect of government affairs including foreign policy. He eventually after the assassination of Henry IV he stayed on during the regency of Marie de Mavicci and the horse widow but he was known for being particularly difficult character having a foul temperbeing very proud. After 30 years it forced retirement which were quite sad really because he is sort of powerlessly commenting on the evidence of French foreign policy while also dealing with all these family problems as his son who ends up suing his dad for more money. So he is very sort of isolated to figure out the end of his life but he does use that
