The Problem With the Church's Liberation of Imagination

The Bible is a model for the community of faith engaging in ongoing moral discourse. Most of the contemporary liberation movements in the world have started in the liturgy. I'm not interested in talking about strategies, I'm talking about the problem of the ordained interpreter in the parish having the courage and freedom to use this outrageous talk that butts against the dominant ideologies of the day.
