The Importance of Purity Culture in Christian Discipleship
A lot of people who grew up in the kind of conservative evangelical church, when they hear the word purity, they think sexual. And that's not to say biblically the language around purity doesn't not sometimes clearly have sexual connotations. It absolutely does. But that is one component of a broad category of different types of impurity which can include looking at porn and sleeping with your girlfriend before you get married.
