Is There a Link Between Characters and Brands?
I think there is a link between people getting obsessed with characters and brands, because now it's so much harder to own something. It has serious and worrying implications for the future if millions of adults are queuing up to see Batman movies. That kind of infantilization could very often be a precursor to fascism. I don't know whether there's any truth in that, but I saw somebody say it and so I'm just being repeating it. And I'm proud of that, Drake. Watchman author Alan Moore, I'm definitely done with comics. But here's the line that everybody's pulled out of this one: ‘It’s where everything is'
