Stephen dumner: I can think of lots of factors that should be more important than the order in which your interview takes place. What i'm thinking is what economists call, i'm not sure what psychologists call it. Do youknow about the gamblers fallacy? You know, just enough to be dangerous. Hefact that the coin is fair will eventually give rise to a distribution that is going to be half heads and half tails. That's kind of irrelevant if you have recommendation from someone who isn't so great but would look for better candidates.
