Nautilus: Will we have another reorientation? And will it be blowback to technology or something that we can't predict? Nautilus: I don't see a fundamental change in the way that we get around happening right now. It's really the intervention of the state and the state's agreeing with this vision being put forward by oil companies and auto companies that leads to this fundamental change, not simply because the auto companies want it to happen. He says Silicon Valley is adopting approaches that Detroit developed and then just codifying them.
