The System of the Churches

The churches are using the system, and Tertullian is stating this is how they do it. Then he goes on to say this, in exactly the same way the other churches, likewise, exhibit their several worthies whom, as having been appointed to their Episcopal places by apostles,. They regard them as transmitters of the apostolic seed. Do you see that? Do you see what's happening here in the writings? It's incredible to me that we have this mentality now in secular theology that has now made themselves to be the experts on the New Testament text. We need to see this.
