We discuss the strengths and limitations of the studies, and how the results translate to clinical practice. Specifically, we go into screening and surgery for primary hyperparathyroidism after a diagnosis of nephrolithiasis, and the role of prophylactic central lymph node dissection, radioactive iodine, and radiofrequency ablation for papillary thyroid carcinoma.
